Radisens granted first European patent

Cork – Nov 4, 2015 – Radisens is pleased to announce the granting by the European Patent Office of it’s first European patent published as EP 2,715,357.

Entitled “Microfluidic disc for use with bead-based immunoassays”, the patent includes various preliminary building blocks for Radisens’ centrifugal microfluidic cartridge technologies. It describes a microfluidic system for processing of biological samples for use in immunoassay diagnostic and monitoring applications.

Radisens CEO, Jerry O’Brien commented on how pleased he was to reach this milestone adding that “this is a great early endorsement of the innovative technologies under development by the Radisens team and we look forward to many more patents being granted based on the roadmap of technologies under development.“
